The Shaykh :"By Allah, if we had spoken with our tongues what the Companions and those after them said
you would have stoned us with stones if you had been able, after stoning us with insults and aggression"
Glory be to Allah! He says: If we had spoken what the Companions said in this and other matters, you would have stoned us with words and with action. With words, how? With cursing and insults. And with action, with stones.
"By Allah, you have declared disbelievers those who said some of their sayings, O nation of aggression"
Therefore, it is the custom of the people of religious innovation that some of them declare disbelievers those who are not like them, declaring the other people of religious innovation disbelievers and the people of the Sunnah disbelievers, and they do not care about this declaration of disbelief; for them, it is as easy as saying "Allahu Akbar" and "Subhan Allah." This is unlike the people of the Sunnah. The people of the Sunnah do not declare someone a disbeliever except with explicit evidence, and they do not declare someone misguided except with explicit evidence. If there is a possibility of disbelief or misguidance, they attribute it to misguidance, because misguidance is certain, while disbelief is an addition, as al-Tahawi, the commentator of the Tahawiyyah, and others mentioned. Moreover, the methodology of the people of the Sunnah and the community is to be cautious, to verify, and to refrain from declaring someone a disbeliever. Yes.
"By Allah, you have declared disbelievers those who said some of their sayings, O nation of aggression
And you have made the body, whose invalidity you decreed, a false god of invalidity"
He means that they made the body the standard by which they demolish all the texts regarding the attributes. So you have made it a false god of demolition, demolishing what the Sunnah brought, what the Qur'an and the Sunnah brought regarding the attributes.
