How many are the *ja'ajic* that have nothing beneath them *** except the echo, like the owls in the ruins (the meaning of *ja'ajic*)

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh :
"How many are the *ja'ajic* that have nothing beneath them *** except the echo, like the owls in the ruins"
The *ja'ajic* have been explained to us previously; they are sounds that yield no benefit. This is the source of the well-known proverb: "You hear the *ja'ajic* but see no grinding," meaning you hear the noisy sounds of this mill, but you see no grinding, meaning you see no flour. Here it says: "except the echo, like the owls in the ruins," meaning the owls in desolate places make noise and circle around, but they yield no benefit. So your voices are like the voices of owls in desolate places; they yield no benefit.
