The Shaykh :
“And the impudent students came and opposed *** His reports with nonsense and delirium”
Students of whom? Students of Shaytan, Iblis. They opposed the reports of Allah, which He informed about Himself and His Messenger informed about Him, with nonsense and delirium.
“And the one who opposes the command is like the one who opposes the *** reports; they are twins in their disbelief”
The one who opposes the command is Iblis, because Allah commanded and he opposed the command, just as the one who opposes the reports does. These people opposed the reports; they did not oppose the commands. They fast, give zakah, pray, perform Hajj, enjoin what is right, and forbid what is wrong. But in the reports, they opposed the transmitted reports with conceivable illusions.
