(Explanation of the Christians' claim that Christ is God and Creator, which is a diminishment) And similar to this is the statement of the enemies of Chri—***—st from among the Christians, the worshippers of the crosses, that we have diminished

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh :"And similar to this" means that similar to the statement of the people of denial of the divine attributes to us, that you are diminishing Allah, is
"the statement of the enemies of Chri— *** —st from among the Christians, the worshippers of the crosses"
The enemies of Christ, the enemies of Christ, how are they his enemies? His enemies sanctify him, saying he is God, that he is the Son of God. How are they enemies? That is the enmity. So who are the friends of Christ? The Muslims are his friends, those who placed him in the position that he himself is pleased with, (peace and blessings be upon him). As for the Christians, they are the enemies of Christ. If Christ were to come out, he would fight them. And for this reason, when he descends in the last of times, what will he do? He will break the cross and kill the pig, and he will not accept anything but Islam, and he will not accept anything but Islam alone. Yes, because the Christians are his enemies. And for this reason, the author said:
"And similar to this is the statement of the enemies of Chri— *** —st from among the Christians, the worshippers of the crosses
We have"
their statement: "We have diminished Christ by saying *** He is a servant, and that is the ultimate diminishment"
You say, "You Muslims have diminished Christ. You said he is a servant and a messenger, whereas in reality he is God and Lord. So you have diminished him." And his statement: "and that is the ultimate diminishment", the apparent meaning is that it is part of the continuation of the Christians' speech, meaning that by making him a servant, this is a diminishment for him.
"If you had said, 'The son of a God, a Creator,' *** you would have fulfilled His right by measure"
Did they tell the truth or lie? They lied. By Allah, they did not tell the truth. If we said he is a servant and a messenger, then we would have fulfilled his right. But if we said he is God, a son, and a Creator, then we have not given him his right; rather, we have given him what he does not deserve. Yes.
