The Meaning of the Poet's Saying: "So the Lord is one Lord, and His Book is *** true, and understanding the truth from it is religion, and His Messenger has made clear the meaning of His speech, so *** no listener to it needs further explanation"

The Shaykh : He (may Allah have mercy on him) mentioned in this passage that the Lord is one (Mighty and Majestic), and His Book is true, and His Messenger is true. The Book: understanding it is religion. So when he says "the Lord is one," he intends by this to prevent contradiction in the speech of Allah, because He is one and His Book is true. If there were contradiction in it, or if it were not true, it would be contradictory. Understanding from the Qur'an is religion, as the Exalted said: [Al-Qamar 54:17] As for the Messenger, he says: He has made clear the manifest truth with the utmost clarity and explanation.
