The validity of prayer in the presence of blood

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question: What is the ruling on praying in a garment that has blood in it, or in the state of blood coming out of a person’s body during prayer?

Answer: If a person prays in a garment that has a small amount of blood from an animal that is pure in life, then there is nothing wrong with it.
As for if the blood is much and he sees it during the prayer, then his prayer is invalid; because blood is ritually impure, if it is much, then it is ritually impure, so he has to go out, wash his garment, and pray.
As for if he did not know until after the prayer, then his prayer is valid.

Question: Is his prayer valid whether the blood was from his own body or from an animal?

Answer: If the blood is from an edible animal, meaning from what remains in the edible meat, then it is pure. As for if it is shed blood, or came out from the person himself, or from a non-edible animal, then it is ritually impure if it is much.
And as for blood coming out from him, if it is a small amount, then it does not invalidate the ablution. If it is much, then the safest course is to repeat the prayer, because a group of scholars hold that the exit of much blood from a person invalidates his ablution, so repeating the prayer is safer for him and a way out of the disagreement, and Allah knows best.
