Is the phrase "You do not break Your promise" established in the hadith after the adhan?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : May Allah reward you. A questioner asks: Is the phrase
You do not break Your promise إنك لا تخلف الميعاد
Muwatta Malik 20:132
established in the hadith for the tathwib after the imam?

The Shaykh : The hadith scholars have differed regarding this phrase. Some said that it is not established because it is an addition to what the narrators agreed upon. Others said that it is established because this addition is from a trustworthy narrator, and an addition from a trustworthy narrator is accepted as long as it does not contradict what is stronger. This does not contradict, because it is the conclusion of the supplication, and something similar has come in the Qur'an, such as Allah the Exalted saying in Surat al-Imran:
Our Lord, and grant us what You promised us through Your messengers and do not disgrace us on the Day of Resurrection. Indeed, You do not fail in [Your] promise." ربنا وآتنا ما وعدتنا على رسلك ولا تخزنا يوم القيامة إنك لا تخلف الميعاد
[Ali 'Imran 3:194]
Shaykh 'Abd al-'Aziz ibn Baz (may Allah have knowledge of him) authenticated this phrase and said: "It is authentic". Accordingly, if a person says it, he is doing well, if Allah wills. Yes.
