What is the ruling on praying the obligatory prayer facing the chamber of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him)?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : May Allah reward you with good. Many of the brothers ask about the ruling on prayer.

The Shaykh : Yes.

The questioner : Many of the brothers ask.

The Shaykh : How much time is left?

The questioner : Minutes.

The Shaykh : The minimum for a group is three. Read. Yes.

The questioner : Many of the brothers ask about the ruling on praying the obligatory prayer facing the chamber of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him)?

The Shaykh : If one prays the obligatory prayer or a voluntary prayer facing the chamber of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him and his family), with the qiblah to his right, to his left, or behind his back, his prayer is invalid. Do you understand this? Have you visualized it? If he faces the chamber in his prayer, whether voluntary or obligatory, and the qiblah is to his left, to his right, or behind his back, his prayer is invalid. Is this correct?
The student: Correct.

The Shaykh : Why? Because he did not face the qiblah. But if he faces the chamber while facing the qiblah, meaning the chamber is between him and the qiblah, then his prayer is valid.
If someone says: Has it not been established from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) that he said:
Do not pray toward graves لا تصلوا إلى القبور
Sunan an-Nasa'i 760Sahih (Darussalam)
We say that if a man intends and deliberately prays facing the grave of the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him and his family), he has fallen into what the Messenger forbade.
As for if he did not intend to, but it just happened that his place in the row is in this location where the chamber is between him and the qiblah, then there is nothing wrong with that. Yes.

The questioner : Are the brothers asking for another lesson besides this one?

The Shaykh : Yes, he said it publicly.

The questioner : He says:The questioner : Do you have another lesson besides this one?

The Shaykh : Yes, if Allah wills, we have a lesson after Maghrib, and the place will be at the place of Shaykh Abu Bakr al-Jazairi, if Allah wills. But be careful, may Allah bless you, that your hearts are present just as your bodies are present, and that you review the rules we mentioned. Individual issues may be forgotten, but the rules are important. If a student of knowledge does not build his knowledge on the principles and rules, it will scatter and disappear. I invite you to this, whether in our gathering or in another gathering. Focus on the rules; the rules are what is important. Do you have a paper?

The questioner : No, by Allah, I do not have one.

The Shaykh : We will answer this one.
The student: Yes.

The Shaykh : There is no objection
The student: Yes.

The Shaykh : On the condition that you do not use it as an excuse a second time. Yes.
