The story of Musa (peace be upon him) with Pharaoh and his plotting against the Children of Israel, and how Allah plotted against him, and the story of Ibrahim (peace be upon him) when he was thrown into the fire

The Shaykh : Pharaoh plotted when he gathered the cities, intending thereby to destroy whom? Musa and his people. So they pursued them, the wretched one. [Ash-Shu'ara 26:61] Meaning, in any case, they are doomed, because the sea is in front of them and Pharaoh, their enemy, is behind them. Where can they go? The Red Sea is a vast, wide sea. What can they do?
Musa (peace and blessings be upon him) said the words of the safe, the believer, the reassured: Meaning, we are not being caught. [Ash-Shu'ara 26:62] Allah is the Greatest. [An-Nahl 16:128] [Ash-Shu'ara 26:62] So Allah revealed to him: "Strike the sea with your staff." A staff of wood that he leans on and uses to drive his sheep. He struck the sea, and what happened? In an instant, faster than the blink of an eye, the sea split. There is no god but Allah. The sea split, and it became twelve paths, not just one path, and it dried up immediately, in an instant. Glory to Allah the Great. It was twelve paths because the Children of Israel were twelve tribes. And He made the flowing water between them like mountains, like mountains, in its state. I mean, it does not mean that it turned into ice and froze, and it was still hot, because it is not mentioned in the Qur'an that it turned into ice. If it had turned into ice and people walked with this path, would they not freeze? But by the permission of Allah, this water stood like a great rock. What was every ridge like? Like a great rock. What is a great rock? A mountain. And it is said that there were holes in these ridges, holes, meaning openings, so that people could see one another to reassure themselves of the safety of their brothers. And Allah is Able over all things.
[Taha 20:77] What? [Taha 20:77]. And Glory to Allah the Great. The whole earth was mud, and what Allah alone knows of years passed over it, and water was above it, and yet in an instant it became dry land, and in an instant this water split and every ridge became like a great rock. What does this indicate? That the matter is in the hand of Allah (Mighty and Majestic), and that He is Able over all things, and that when He wills something, He says to it "Be," and it is. Where are the scientists of nature? Can nature do this? No, by Allah.
And Ibrahim (peace and blessings be upon him), the disbelievers who denied him lit a great fire for him and then threw him into the blaze. It is said that they threw him onto the fire with a catapult because it burned those near it due to its intensity, quantity, and greatness. They threw him onto the fire with the catapult. And what did Allah say to the fire? Allah the Exalted said: This burning fire became cool, but not the severe cold that kills, as He said: The scholars said if He had said "cool" without saying "peace," it would have destroyed him. But Allah (Exalted and Majestic is He) said: [Al-Anbya 21:69]. So it became cool and peace for him. I say, O my brothers, that Allah the Exalted is Able over all things, capable of reversing things and changing their natures, because He is the Creator alone, Glorified and Exalted is He.
Now, I say that Pharaoh plotted against Musa and saw that he had caught him, as he reached the point of zero, the limit that, according to Musa's understanding, not Pharaoh's understanding, he must perish, even those who believed with Musa. And what did they say? So the wicked one thought he had gained control over Musa and his people. Musa and his people came out of the sea safely, and Pharaoh and his people entered, thinking that they would catch Musa. When Musa and his people had fully exited and Pharaoh and his people were entering, Allah commanded the sea to return to what it was, and it closed over them. Allah is the Greatest! And what happened? They were in the depths of the seas. They perished, all of them. And Pharaoh, who had previously boasted of the water, where he said to his people

The Shaykh : Before that, he said to his people:[Az-Zukhruf 43:51] He boasted that he had the kingdom of Egypt. And who was behind him? Who? The Children of Israel, who the day before he was slaughtering their sons and sparing their women. And he boasted of the rivers flowing beneath him. And what destroyed him? The water that he had boasted of the day before. And he was arrogant toward the people of Musa, and thus he became a follower of them. When drowning overtook him, he said: [Yunus 10:90] Glory to Allah. At first, he was killing the Children of Israel for their faith, but now he submitted and humbled himself and said, "I believe in the One in whom the Children of Israel believe." He did not say, "I believe in Allah," in humiliation, and may Allah protect us, and in disgrace, that these people whom he used to kill and slaughter the day before are now, what? His followers. What was said to him?
"Do you believe now? Do you believe in what the Children of Israel believe? Now you will be among the Muslims, and you used to disobey before, and you were among the corrupters. So today We will save your body, with the body, not the soul. The soul was released with the souls from drowning to burning, and may Allah protect us.[Ghafir 40:46] But Allah saved him with his body, why? To be a sign and a mark that Pharaoh, who had terrified the Children of Israel, had died. Because you know that the terror of the Children of Israel of this stubborn disbeliever reached a great extent. They might not believe that he drowned. Satan might say to them that he did not drown, that he was saved, that the waves saved him to the shore of the sea, for example. So when they see him with their own eyes, then, what? They are reassured, they are reassured. And for this reason He said: [Yunus 10:92] A sign for the Children of Israel, a mark that you perished and nothing remains for you.
In any case, I brought this example to show that Allah the Exalted plots against His awliya (close friends of Allah) against whom? Against their enemies. And Allah the Exalted said:[Yusuf 12:76].
And when the two companies saw one another, the companions of Moses said, "Indeed, we are to be overtaken!"
فلما ترائى الجمعان قال أصحاب موسى إنا لمدركونMusa (peace and blessings be upon him) said the words of the safe, the believer, the reassured:
He said, "No."
قال كلاIndeed, with me is my Lord; He will guide me."
إن معي ربي سيهدينIndeed, Allah is with those who fear Him and those who are doers of good.
إن الله مع الذين اتقوا والذين هم محسنونIndeed, with me is my Lord; He will guide me."
إن معي ربي سيهدينand strike for them a dry path through the sea
فاضرب بهم طريقا في البحرa dry path through the sea; you will not fear being overtaken [by Pharaoh] nor be afraid [of drowning]."

We are surely overtaking them
