Clarification of the misguidance of those who say that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) is alive.

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh : And by this, we know the misguidance of those who say that Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) is alive, because this is a denial that contradicts the Qur'an, and because it is a complete criticism of the Companions (may Allah be pleased with them). How could they bury their Prophet while he is alive? But he (peace and blessings be upon him) and his brothers among the messengers are alive in their graves with a barzakh (the interval between death and resurrection) life, which is higher than the life of the martyrs, about whom Allah said:
And never think of those who have been killed in the cause of Allah as dead. Rather ولا تحسبن الذين قتلوا في سبيل الله أمواتا بل
[Ali 'Imran 3:169]
What?
Rather, they are alive with their Lord, receiving provision, بل أحياء عند ربهم يرزقون
[Ali 'Imran 3:169]
And this barzakh life differs from worldly life. Worldly life requires food, drink, air, and other things that are the components of life. As for barzakh life, its knowledge is with Allah; we do not know its nature, but we believe in it according to what Allah the Exalted has informed us about it. So he (peace and blessings be upon him) is dead, without doubt; his soul has departed from his body. But he is alive in his grave with a barzakh life. Allah preserved the bodies of the Prophets (peace and blessings be upon them) on the earth; Allah forbade the earth to consume the bodies of the Prophets. As for those other than the Prophets, among the awliya (close friends of Allah) and the righteous, the earth may consume them, or it may not. But those for whom it is established that the earth does not consume them are the Prophets, by the saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him and his family):
for Allah has forbidden the earth to consume the bodies of the Prophets إن الله حرم على الأرض أن تأكل أجساد الأنبياء
