Discussion regarding the saying of Allah the Exalted: "Allah does not burden a soul beyond that it can bear."

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh : Now, regarding the verse that follows it,
Allah does not charge a soul except [with that within] its capacity
[Al-Baqarah 2:286]
, is it abrogating His saying:
Whether you show what is within yourselves or conceal it, Allah will bring you to account for it
[Al-Baqarah 2:284]
? This is because Allah the Exalted mentioned in another verse:
Say, "Whether you conceal what is in your breasts or reveal it قل إن تخفوا ما في صدوركم أو تبدوه
[Ali 'Imran 3:29]
What is it?
Allah knows it يعلمه الله
And He did not say "He will judge you," but here He said:
Whether you show what is within yourselves or conceal it, Allah will bring you to account for it
[Al-Baqarah 2:284]
So, is the verse that follows it,
Allah does not charge a soul except [with that within] its capacity
[Al-Baqarah 2:286]
, abrogating it or not? The answer is yes, it is abrogating, because what is in the souls, which is the whispering of the soul, carries no punishment, since a person cannot rid himself of the whispering of the soul. Therefore, His saying:
Allah does not charge a soul except [with that within] its capacity
[Al-Baqarah 2:286]
is abrogating His saying:
Allah will bring you to account for it
[Al-Baqarah 2:284]
