The Shaykh : Praise be to Allah; we praise Him, seek His help, seek His forgiveness, and turn to Him in repentance. We seek refuge in Allah from the evils of our own souls and from the badness of our deeds. Whom Allah guides, none can mislead, and whom He leaves to mislead, none can guide. I bear witness that there is no god but Allah alone, with no partner, and I bear witness that Muhammad is His slave and His Messenger. Allah the Exalted sent him with guidance and the religion of truth to make it prevail over all religions, that is, over all religions, making it supreme over them, dominant over them, and controlling them, even if the disbelievers hate it. This is what happened at the beginning of this Ummah (the Muslim community) when it was upright upon the religion of Allah and no one overpowered it. The palaces of Kisra and Caesar were demolished.

When this noble verse was revealed, the Companions came to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) in a state of alarm and said, “O Messenger of Allah, how will we be held accountable for what we did not speak and did not act upon?”
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said to them:Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah 34:615. They did so and said, “We hear and we obey.” Then Allah revealed for them relief in His saying: [Al-Baqarah 2:286]. So Allah lightened the burden for them and dropped from them what they did not act upon, speak about, or what occurred without their choice.

To Allah belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is in the earth. Whether you show what is within yourselves or conceal it, Allah will bring you to account for it. Then He will forgive whom He wills and punish whom He wills, and Allah is over all things competent.
لله ما في السماوات وما في الأرض وإن تبدو ما في أنفسكم أو تخفوه يحاسبكم به الله فيغفر لمن يشاء ويعذب من يشاء والله على كل شيء قديرWhen this noble verse was revealed, the Companions came to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) in a state of alarm and said, “O Messenger of Allah, how will we be held accountable for what we did not speak and did not act upon?”
