Explanation of the Hadith of the Seven Who Will Be in the Shade of Allah on the Day There Is No Shade Except His

The Shaykh : And listen to the words of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): On the Day of Resurrection, there will be no shade in any building, no shade in any wall, no shade in the caves of the mountains, and no shade anywhere on the earth. Allah the Exalted will spread the earth out flat, so that you will not see any unevenness or depression. It will be stretched out like a piece of leather, becoming a single surface. For this reason, the Prophet (peace be upon him) informed us that the people in this standing place will hear the caller and their sight will reach far. That is, a person will see the farthest distance and hear the farthest distance. Because the earth we are on now is spherical, and due to its curvature, one cannot hear what is behind. But on the Day of Resurrection, it will be what? Stretched out and level, with no shade. And where will the sun be in relation to the people? Above their heads, at the distance of a mile. The matter is severe and great. These seven will be in His shade on the Day when there is no shade except His. O Allah, we ask You by Your names and Your attributes, and we are awaiting an obligation from Your obligations, that You shade us with Your shade on the Day when there is no shade except Your shade, and that You make that for our mothers, our fathers, our brothers, our scholars, and those who love us in You and whom we love in You, O Lord of the worlds. O Allah, send blessings and peace upon Your servant and Your Messenger Muhammad.
