A Brief Word on the Mercy of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) for His Ummah and His Advice to Them

The Shaykh : We seek His help and we seek His forgiveness, and we seek refuge in Allah from the evil of our own souls and from the badness of our deeds. Whomsoever Allah guides, there is no one who can misguide him, and whomsoever He leaves to misguide, there is no one who can guide him. And I bear witness that there is no god but Allah alone, with no partner, and I bear witness that Muhammad is His slave and His Messenger, His intimate friend, and His trustee over His revelation. Allah the Exalted sent him before the Hour as a bringer of good news and a warner, and as a caller to Allah by His permission and a luminous lamp. So he conveyed the message, fulfilled the trust, advised the Ummah, and struggled in the cause of Allah with a true struggle until certainty came to him. Indeed, even as he was in the throes of death, he (peace and blessings be upon him) was advising his Ummah and warning them. He enjoined upon them prayer and what their right hands possess. He said: Sunan Ibn Majah 1625Da’if (Darussalam). And he warned them against what contradicts the oneness of Allah and serves as a path to associating partners with Allah. He said, while in the throes of death, may Allah’s prayers and peace be upon him: Sunan an-Nasa'i 703Sahih (Darussalam). So look, my brother, at this great advice from this noble Prophet, who advised his Ummah by commanding them with what benefits them and warning them against what harms them, while he was in the throes of death. May Allah’s prayers and peace be upon him. And we ask the Exalted to reward him for us with the best of what He has rewarded any Prophet for his Ummah, and to gather us and you in his group, and to include us in his intercession, and to let us drink from his pool, and to unite us with him in the Gardens of Delight, along with those upon whom Allah has bestowed favor from among the Prophets, the Truthful, the Martyrs, and the Righteous.
