Is there a basis in the Shari'ah for the prayer of gratitude, the prayer of need, and the prayer of tasbih?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : I read in one of the books about some voluntary prayers, namely the prayer of gratitude, the prayer of need, and the prayer of tasbih. Do they have a basis in the Shari'ah? I hope the honorable Shaykh will answer.

The Shaykh : Praise be to Allah, Lord of the worlds, and I send prayers and peace upon our Prophet Muhammad, and upon his family and his Companions, and upon those who follow them with excellence until the Day of Judgment:
As for the prayer of gratitude, I know of nothing in it except the prostration of gratitude. This is when a person is granted a new blessing, either by attaining something he loves or by the removal of something he dislikes. It is prescribed for him to prostrate to Allah with one prostration, in which he glorifies Allah with the glorification of prostration and praises Allah (Glorified and Exalted is He) for the blessing for which he prostrated. He says Allahu Akbar when prostrating, but does not say it when raising his head, does not recite the tashahhud, and does not say the taslim.
As for the prayer of need, I know of no basis for it except what was reported from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) during the Battle of Badr, when he was in the tent praying and asking Allah (Glorified and Exalted is He) for victory, seeking His help and calling upon Him for aid. This is indicated by the saying of the Exalted:
And seek help through patience and prayer, and indeed, it is difficult except for the humbly submissive [to Allah] وَاسْتَعِينُوا بِالصَّبْرِ وَالصَّلاةِ وَإِنَّهَا لَكَبِيرَةٌ إِلَّا عَلَى الْخَاشِعِينَ
[Al-Baqarah 2:45]
However, it is not a prayer that is distinguished from other prayers by anything specific.
As for the prayer of tasbih, there are reports (athar) regarding it, but they are weak. And the Shaykh al-Islam (may Allah have mercy on him) said: "Its hadith is false, and none of the Imams recommended it". Therefore, we do not call people to perform it, because the original ruling for acts of worship is prohibition and prevention until clear, explicit, and authentic evidence is established that this act of worship is prescribed, whether in its form or in its essence.

The questioner : May Allah bless you.
