Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh : And since the Noble Qur'an is *muthani* (doubled), with meanings repeated within it, whenever a thing is mentioned, its opposite is mentioned. When the truth is mentioned, falsehood is mentioned; when the disbeliever is mentioned, the believer is mentioned; when the reward is mentioned, the punishment is mentioned, so that the person remains in his methodology and actions between fear and hope. When He mentioned that those who disbelieved and prevented [people] from the path of Allah had made their deeds astray, He said: [Muhammad 47:2] Who are those who believed? In what? We said: those who disbelieved in what is obligatory to believe in. So, who are those who believed?
The student: In what is obligatory to believe in.

And those who believe and do righteous deeds and believe in what has been sent down upon Muhammad - and it is the truth from their Lord - He will remove from them their misdeeds and amend their condition.
