The Shaykh :[Al-Insan 76:24] So when Allah mentioned His favor upon him by revealing the Qur'an, He commanded him to be patient with the judgment of Allah. A question may arise in a person's mind, where he says: It was expected that when He said [Al-Insan 76:23], He would say "So give thanks for the favor of Allah," because the revelation of the Qur'an to him was a favor. So it was expected that He would say "So give thanks for the favor of Allah." Why did Allah the Mighty and Majestic say [Al-Insan 76:24]? We say: Because the revelation of the Qur'an to him was a covenant and a pledge to convey it to the Ummah, and conveying it to the Ummah requires patience and hardship, because he will be denied and he will be harmed for this revelation, so he needs patience. Therefore, we say to everyone whom Allah has favored with knowledge: be patient with what Allah has given you of knowledge. Expend this knowledge in teaching, calling, character, conduct, and worship, because Allah did not burden you with this knowledge except that He will question you about it on the Day of Resurrection. And His saying: [Al-Qalam 68:48] Does this mean the cosmic judgment or the decreed judgment, or both? It means both. Be patient with the legislative judgment of Allah, where Allah obligated him to convey what was revealed to him from his Lord, by the permission of his Lord, and with His cosmic judgment, if what he dislikes from the servants of Allah befalls him. It is well known that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was subjected to harm that reached him, or through his patience, to the peak of the patient ones. He was harmed (peace and blessings be upon him) with severe harm, to the extent that one day he was prostrating under the Ka'bah, and a group of Quraysh came and brought the intestines of a camel, its contents, meaning its feces and what was in its belly. They brought it and placed it on him while he was prostrating (peace and blessings be upon him). All of this was an aggression against him, otherwise it is well known that Quraysh honor those who come to this House, to the extent that they give the pilgrims water in which raisins have been soaked, and they serve the pilgrims. And the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) is the most deserving of people of honor, yet they harm him with this harm. So he was commanded to be patient with the judgment of Allah. And His saying: [Al-Qalam 68:48] The cosmic judgment and the legislative judgment. [Al-Insan 76:24] The sinful one is the disobedient one, and the ungrateful one is the disbeliever. Meaning, do not obey these or those. As for the believers, Allah the Exalted commanded His Prophet to lower his wing to those who followed him from among the believers.
