And its benefit actually returns to the factories of the disbelievers, where they shower us with these contact lenses from their factories. They cost very little to manufacture, yet they are sold for many times more than their cost.
I say: It is not befitting for a woman to use these contact lenses in and of themselves. If their use causes harm to the eye, they are forbidden, because anything that causes harm to the body is forbidden. The human body is a trust, and it is not permissible to expose it to anything that harms it. And Allah the Mighty and Majestic said:[An-Nisa 4:29] And Allah the Exalted said: [Al-Baqarah 2:195] And Allah made it obligatory for the sick person, if using water harms him, to perform dry ablution with clean earth.
