The meaning of his statement (may Allah be pleased with him): "That 'Umar acquired the land of Khaybar."

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh : Then the author (may Allah have mercy on him) mentioned the hadith of 'Umar that he acquired land in Khaybar, and that was after it was conquered. When was the conquest of Khaybar, my brother? When was it? Between the first year of the Hijrah and the eleventh year, right? No, how? No? Between the first year of the Hijrah and the eleventh year, meaning before the first year of the Hijrah? No, sit down until we discuss what? What do you say?
The student: ... .

The Shaykh : You have not studied history, this is the problem, yes.
The student: The seventh.

The Shaykh : The seventh, at what time? Before or after? In the seventh year, do you have any knowledge? Rest.
The student: ... .

The Shaykh : The ninth, okay, yes, yes.
The student: ... .

The Shaykh : We are not asking about the Treaty of Hudaybiyyah, we are asking about Khaybar. Okay, it was in the beginning of the seventh year. Khaybar had farms for the Jews and fortresses for the Jews. When they were expelled from Madinah, they settled there, and they were people of cultivation and planting. So the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) conquered it and divided its land among the share-holders.
