Explaining that the best endowments in our time are those for mosques.

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh : We see that as long as a person is alive, he should allocate whatever he wishes of his wealth to general benefit. The best we see in the present time is mosques. For example, he might say, "One-third of my wealth, one-quarter of my wealth, or one-fifth of my wealth is for mosques," so that it becomes the best, because mosques have the broadest benefit. In mosques, the worshippers benefit, the sleepers benefit, and those who take shelter from the cold and the heat benefit. Therefore, they have the broadest benefit. We see that a person should make his endowment for mosques, because that is better, purer for his conscience, and safer from the dispute of the heirs. But, unfortunately, people have been afflicted with bequeathing to their descendants, even though its harm is apparent in the long run.
