How the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was harmed, and a mention of some examples of the polytheists’ harm to the Prophet (peace be upon him)

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh : They harmed the Messenger (may Allah’s peace and blessings be upon him). The harm to the Messenger (may Allah’s peace and blessings be upon him) was through speech and through action. Those who harmed the Messenger (may the prayers and peace of Allah be upon him) through speech said that he was a sorcerer. They said that he was a liar. They said that he was a soothsayer. They said that he was insane, and so on, from the words of mockery that included harm to the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him). They harmed him through action. One day, listen, one day the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) was prostrating under the Ka'bah in a safe place, and a group of Quraysh was around him. Some of them said to others, “Is there not a man who will bring the intestines of the she-camel of so-and-so, meaning its dung and blood, and place it on Muhammad?” The most wretched of them volunteered, brought the intestines, and placed them on the back of the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) while he was prostrating, until his daughter Fatimah (may Allah be pleased with her) came and removed the harm from him. Now, is this harm or not? By what? By action or by speech? By action. And likewise, they used to throw harm and filth on the threshold of his door. And whoever reviews the biography will see the astonishing things.
