The questioner : In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
May Allah preserve you, esteemed Shaykh. Peace be upon you, and Allah's mercy and blessings. And after the question.

The Shaykh : Yes.

The questioner : The question.

The Shaykh : Peace be upon you, and Allah's mercy and blessings.

The questioner : The question is: after the afternoon of the Day of 'Arafah, and I was fasting, in a dream someone alerted me, saying: "A woman wants to see you." So I woke up to the alarm, and it was my deceased mother coming to me. I greeted her and embraced her to my chest, and she said to me: "May Allah reward you with good." So I woke up from my sleep, and my son was a pilgrim, so I informed my family of this.

The Shaykh : What?

The questioner : So I woke up from my sleep.

The Shaykh : Yes.

The questioner : And my son was a pilgrim.

The Shaykh : Your son.

The questioner : Yes, and I informed my family of this, and they replied to me, saying: "May it be good, if Allah wills." And after my son returned from Hajj, I told him about it, and he said: "At every station, I remember my grandmother and make du'a for her." Please advise us, may Allah reward you. Peace be upon you, and Allah's mercy and blessings?

The Shaykh : It appears that this is good, if Allah wills. This is good for you; it indicates that your mother knew of the du'a you were sending to her, so she thanked you for this.
