If a person fears for his children's morals during his absence for voluntary Hajj, is it permissible for him to perform Hajj?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful:
The honorable Shaykh, a person asked that he has offspring who occupy him from voluntary Hajj, and he fears for their moral deficiency during his absence for Hajj. Do you see an excuse for him in this, or not?

The Shaykh : There is no doubt that raising his children is obligatory, and voluntary Hajj is not obligatory, nor is voluntary 'Umrah. So if he fears for his children being lost if he goes for 'Umrah in Ramadan, for example, or Hajj, then it is not permissible for him to go for Hajj; it is not permissible, because he is directly responsible for his family. And the Hajj I am speaking about is voluntary Hajj.

The questioner : Because the matter is difficult for the person.

The Shaykh : How?

The questioner : May Allah reward you with good.

The Shaykh : And to you.
