What is the ruling on one who ate camel meat while knowing that it invalidates the ablution, but he prayed a number of prayers while forgetting, and he does not know how many?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : Peace be upon you, and Allah's mercy and blessings.

The Shaykh : And upon you be peace, and Allah's mercy and blessings.

The questioner : O Shaykh, this questioner asks, saying: I ate camel meat several times and did not pray after eating it.

The Shaykh : He did not perform the ablution.

The questioner : Yes, he did not perform the ablution, and he forgot and prayed. He says that he erred in thinking that it was a nullifier, whereas he knows that eating camel meat is a nullifier of the prayer, and he does not know the number of prayers?

The Shaykh : This issue is part of a general issue: If a person becomes in a state of ritual impurity by urinating or defecating and forgets to perform the ablution and prays, is his prayer valid?
The answer is: No, based on the saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him):
Allaah, the Exalted, does not accept the prayer of any of you when you are defiled until you performed ablution. لا يقبل الله صلاة أحدكم إذا أحدث حتى يتوضأ
Sunan Abi Dawud 60Sahih (Al-Albani)
and there is no prayer without purification. So his prayer is not valid. It is obligatory for him to make up what he missed, making up the prayers he performed without ablution after eating the meat.
So if he says: I do not know, we say: He should estimate. He should make an estimate. If it becomes predominant in his mind that it was five or six prayers, he takes what is predominant in his mind. If he is in doubt and does not know whether it is five or six, and nothing becomes predominant in his mind, let him take the lesser number, meaning: that it was five, in our example, because that is certain, and what is added is doubtful and no action is based on it. Did you understand?

The questioner : ...

The Shaykh : Leave it, then keep it in mind.
