The questioner : By His permission

The Shaykh : With his permission. Yes, he is sinful because he has invalidated her fast, but there is no expiation. There is no expiation on her, of course, nor on him, because he is one who breaks the fast.

The questioner : But is his action among the major sins, or does it not fall under that?

The Shaykh : I do not know of a specific threat in it. And if a sin does not have a specific threat attached to it, it is not among the major sins.
