In some hadiths, it is stated that the beard of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) had a few white hairs, so how does one dye it?

The questioner : Shaykh, may Allah bless you, it is mentioned in some hadiths that the beard of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was black with a few white hairs, so how did the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) dye it when his beard was black?

The Shaykh : It appears that this is what necessitated investigating this matter, because the dyeing might have been on something other than the beard. Otherwise, Anas ibn Malik said:
Indeed, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) did not dye his hair; it had only a few white hairs. إن النبي صلّى الله عليه وسلم لم يصبغ ليس فيه إلا شعرات يسيرة
And what is reported in some narrations is that he dyed it. Some scholars said that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to use a lot of perfume, and his hair changed color because of that, or the one who saw him had just applied perfume and thought he was dyeing it.
