Is the factor that removes the obligation to begin with the right hand in the full ritual bath the verse: “And if you are in a state of major ritual impurity, then purify yourselves,” where it was stated in general terms?

The questioner : Should we not say that the factor is the verse, because Allah the Exalted said: The verse was stated in general terms regarding the full ritual bath or the ablution, meaning just as we said in the chapter on ablution, so this is also a factor that removes the obligation?

The Shaykh : In any case, I have not seen any of the scholars say that it is obligatory to begin with the right hand, and that is the case; this is ... for the sake of recommendation.
