The Shaykh : Yes
The reader: Imam al-Bukhari (may Allah have mercy on him) said in the Book of Prayer from his Sahih, in the chapter on what has come regarding the qiblah:
'Amr ibn Maimun narrated to us, saying: Hisham narrated to us from Humayd from Anas ibn Malik, who said: قال عمر بن الخطاب: وافقت ربي في ثلاث فقلت: يا رسول الله لو اتخذنا من مقام إبراهيم مصلًى فنزلت واتخذوا من مقام إبراهيم مصلى وآية الحجاب قلت: يا رسول الله لو أمرت نساءك أن يحتجبن فإنه يكلمهن البر والفاجر فنزلت آية الحجاب واجتمع نساء النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم في الغيرة عليه فقلت لهن: عسى ربه إن طلقكن أن يبدله أزواجًا خيرًا منكن فنزلت هذه الآية 'Umar ibn al-Khattab said: I agreed with my Lord in three matters. I said: O Messenger of Allah, if we were to take the Station of Ibrahim as a place of prayer? So it was revealed: "And take the Station of Ibrahim as a place of prayer." And regarding the verse of the veil, I said: O Messenger of Allah, if you were to order your wives to veil themselves, for both the righteous and the wicked speak to them? So the verse of the veil was revealed. And the wives of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) gathered in jealousy over him, so I said to them: "Perhaps his Lord, if he should divorce you, will replace you with wives better than you." So this verse was revealed. Abu 'Abd Allah said: And Ibn Abi Maryam narrated to us, saying: Yahya ibn Ayyub informed us, saying: Humayd narrated to me, saying: I heard Anas with this.
