Explanation of the Book of Prayer and Its Times-03a

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The reciter: Ibn Abi Maryam said: Yahya informed us, saying: Humayd narrated to us, saying: Anas narrated from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). And Ali ibn Abdullah said: Khalid ibn al-Harith narrated to us, saying: Humayd said: Maymun ibn Sayyah asked Anas ibn Malik, saying:
O Abu Humayd, what makes the blood and wealth of a slave inviolable? He said: Whoever testifies that there is no god but Allah, faces our qiblah, prays our prayer, and eats our slaughtered meat, is a Muslim. He has what the Muslim has, and he is bound by what the Muslim is bound by.
.

The Shaykh : Now, whoever sees this says that this hadith is mawquf (stopping at a Companion), and therefore the scholars said: "If there is a conflict, if the marfu' (traced to the Prophet) narration conflicts with the mawquf (stopping at a Companion) narration, the marfu' narration is preferred, because a Companion may say a hadith, he may say a hadith from himself without attributing it to the Prophet". And this, this is a witness; this is a clear witness, because the wording that Anas said without attributing it to the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) is the same wording that the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) mentioned.
