Ibn al-Qayyim’s praise of al-Qahatani, the author of the *Nuniyyah*, and the meaning of the poet’s line: “And indeed he has said in his poetry what…”

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh : Then he said, and then he praised the one who said this true statement, who is al-Qahatani (may Allah have mercy on him) in his famous *Nuniyyah al-Qahataniyyah*. He said:
“Indeed, what is in the mushafs, fixed *** by the hands of the elders and the young
is the word of my Lord, its verse and its letters *** and our ink and the paper are created”

Is that correct? Writing requires a hand, a pen, ink, paper, and the written text. How many are these? Five. Five things: a hand, here? Ink, a pen, paper (meaning paper), and the written text. The first four are created, and the fifth, which is the written text, is not created if it is the Qur'an, then it is not created. He said:
“So he cured and distinguished between the recited and the made *** and that is the truth of gnosis
All is created, and His speech is not *** the recited is not created, here are two things”

I think it is clear now?
