The Shaykh : In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
This is also among the evidences for the exaltation of Allah (Glorified and Exalted is He), and it is the confirmation of the one who asked him using the phrase "Where," meaning the confirmation of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) of the one who asked him, "Where is our Lord?" So the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) answered him:
Where is our Lord before He created the heavens and the earth? He said: He was in the darkness. أين ربنا قبل أن يخلق السماوات والأرض قال كان في عماء
Sahih Ibn Hibban 62:4
... meaning in something of the kind of a cloud or the like. This questioner said, "Where is our Lord? Where is our Lord?" And "where" is used to inquire about the place. So the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) confirmed him on this question and answered him that He is in the darkness, meaning that He (Glorified and Exalted is He) is above everything, and surrounding Him is what is in the darkness, of the kind of light clouds. Yes.
And likewise, he himself
He said to her: Where is Allah? She said: He is in the heaven. سأل الجارية قال لها أين الله قالت في السماء
Sahih Muslim 537a
So he confirmed her. So the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) answered the questioner with "Where," and he himself also directed a question with "Where." And "where" is used to inquire about the place. He said:
"This is the fourteenth, and it is the confirmation of the one who asked him using the phrase 'Where' regarding the Most Merciful"
"And Abu Razi' narrated it after he asked the Messenger using his own wording in meter"
"And he narrated it as a transmission of it and a confirmation of what he confirmed without denial"
It is possible that it is a confirmation of what he confirmed, meaning that the Messenger confirmed what he confirmed.
