The Shaykh : In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
This is also among the evidence for the elevation of Allah (Mighty and Majestic), and that is that multiple verses have come in affirming "being with" Him, such as His saying:[Al-A'raf 7:206] and such as His saying: [Al-Anbya 21:19] and such as His saying: [Al-Muzzammil 73:12] and the like of that. So "being with" indicates elevation, because if He were not elevated, what would all creation be? They would be with Him; all creation would be with Him, and in that case, the near would not be distinguished from the far. So the texts that affirm "being with" indicate that Allah (Glorified and Exalted is He) is elevated above His Throne.
The author says: "And indeed he specified the 'with' that *** we said was seven, but he actually came with eight"
Meaning eight verses or eight places, of which two are explicit
"Of which two are explicit in the surah of al-A'raf, then the second in al-Anbiya" In the surah of al-A'raf:[Al-A'raf 7:206] and do not turn back, and in al-Anbiya: [Al-Anbya 21:19]
"So reflect on the specification and look at what *** the two texts do not imply for others"
The specification of those who are with Him indicates that others besides them are not with Him. So He (Glorified and Exalted is He) is elevated, and if that were not the case, all people would be with Him.
"And in the surah of al-Tahrim is also a third *** obvious to one who has ears"
The wife of Pharaoh said:[At-Tahrim 66:11].
