The Shaykh :"And mention the hadith of Husayn ibn al-Mundhir, the trustworthy, the pleased one, I mean Abu Imran"
Imran ibn Husayn is well known and famous, and his father is Husayn. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) asked him: So he approved his statement:
"When he said: My Lord is in the sky, for my desire*** and my fear, I call upon Him at every time
So the Guide, the Bringer of Good News, approved him and did not say***: You are one who ascribes a body to Allah, claiming a place".
And the people of denial of the divine attributes who deny the elevation say that whoever says that Allah is in the sky is one who ascribes a body to Allah.
Imran ibn Husayn is well known and famous, and his father is Husayn. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) asked him:
How many gods do you worship? He said: I worship six or seven gods, one in the sky and six on the earth. He said: Whom do you call upon for your desire and your fear? He said: The One in the sky. He said: Then worship the One in the sky.
كم إله تعبد ؟ قال : أعبُد ستة آلهة أو سبعة واحد في السماء وستة في الأرض قال : من تعد لرغبتك ورهبتك ؟ قال : الذي في السماء قال : فاعبُد الذي في السماءIn the sky
