(Explanation of the similarity between the Jahmi and the Jews) Then judge after this, who is more deserving of this similarity by proof: the Jews were commanded to say "Hatta" (remission), but they refused.

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh :"Then judge after this, who is more deserving of this similarity by proof"
Mentioning the example
"The Jews were commanded to say 'Hatta' (remission), but they refused and said 'Hunata' (wheat) out of baseness"
When were they commanded? When it was said to them:
enter the gate bowing humbly ادخلوا الباب سجدا
[Al-Baqarah 2:58]
meaning the gate of the village whose people they were commanded to fight, and to say "Hatta" (remission). What did they do? They entered crawling on their buttocks, each one crawling on his rear, meaning on his backside, saying: "Hunata, hunata, hunata" (wheat) instead of "Hatta" (remission). That is, they wanted wheat, not the remission of sins. We do not want the remission of sins; we want wheat, because they wanted money and full bellies, and it did not matter to them whether Allah remitted their sins or not. We ask Allah for well-being. Yes.
"The Jews were commanded to say 'Hatta' (remission), but they refused" Hatta, what is it? "Remit our sins from us." But they said "Hunata" (wheat); they wanted to eat out of baseness.
