This, and we are disavowed of them, nay, of you, *** except for guidance and clarification (The Disavowal of the People of the Sunnah from the Khawarij and the Deniers of the Divine Attributes)

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh :"This, and we are disavowed of them, nay, of you" May Allah reward him well. He says, "We are disavowed of you and disavowed of them, the Khawarij, because they are all not upon the truth." "Except for guidance and clarification" This is also from the fairness of Ibn al-Qayyim. That is, we disavow you except for what comes from you of guidance and clarification, for we accept that. Therefore, it is not permissible for a person to let his hatred of an individual lead him to reject his words absolutely. As Allah the Exalted said:
and do not let the hatred of a people prevent you from being just. Be just; that is nearer to righteousness ولا يجرمنكم شنآن قوم على ألا تعدلوا اعدلوا هو أقرب للتقوى
[Al-Ma'idah 5:8]
It is obligatory for a person to accept the truth from whoever brings it, and to reject the falsehood from whoever brings it. As for weighing the truth by men and saying that everything this person brings is truth, that is an error. Therefore, he said: "This, and we are disavowed of them, nay, of you" meaning, and of you as well, "disavowed except for guidance and clarification".
