The Shaykh : The author (may Allah have mercy on him) mentioned, among the things the people of affirmation charged the people of denial with, so that they may bear witness to it before Allah (Mighty and Majestic), saying:
"and bear witness against them that they described *** the deity with everything that has come in the Qur'an"
And this, praise be to Allah, is our creed: that we describe Allah with everything that has come in the Qur'an, every description, and we do not shy away from describing Allah with it if Allah has described Himself with it. And likewise:
"with everything the Messenger said as truth *** without distortion or transgression"
Also, everything the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said in describing Allah, we describe Allah with it. We do not hesitate, and we do not shy away; rather, we say it explicitly and openly, and we are at peace, praise be to Allah.
