The messengers came to us affirming the exaltation of our Lord above every place (Explanation of the first difference, which is affirming the exaltation of Allah, unlike the deniers of the divine attributes, who divided into two groups: one group said He is in a place, and the other group said He is not in a place)

The Shaykh : He said:
"The messengers came to us affirming the exaltation of our Lord above every place"
Allah the Exalted said:[An-Nahl 16:50], all the messengers agreed that Allah is above everything, and the deniers of the divine attributes say: No, and they divided on this in opposition to what the messengers brought. They divided into two groups: one group said that He is, by His essence, in every place, in the mosques, in the houses, in the fields, in every place, may Allah protect us from that.
And another group said: He has no place, He is not in anything, not above the world nor beneath it, not to its right nor to its left, not in front of it nor behind it, not above it nor beneath it, yes, and not inside the world nor outside it, not connected nor disconnected, not distinct nor adjacent, and they brought out the most astonishing things from this, do you understand? The messengers said that He is above everything, and for this reason he said:
"above every place".
"The messengers came to us affirming the exaltation of our Lord above every place"
Allah the Exalted said:
They fear their Lord above them
يخافون ربهم من فوقهمAnd another group said: He has no place, He is not in anything, not above the world nor beneath it, not to its right nor to its left, not in front of it nor behind it, not above it nor beneath it, yes, and not inside the world nor outside it, not connected nor disconnected, not distinct nor adjacent, and they brought out the most astonishing things from this, do you understand? The messengers said that He is above everything, and for this reason he said:
"above every place".
