(Mentioning the stratagem of the people of ta'til (denial of the divine attributes) against those who opposed them with harm to the tongue and the body) And they called upon your servants to obey them, so whoever*** disobeys them, they subjected him to the worst of humiliation and they destroyed those who did not

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh : The author (may Allah have mercy on him) says:
"And they called upon your servants to obey them *** so whoever disobeys them, they subjected him to the worst of humiliation"
This means: these deniers called people to obey them and said, "Follow our path." So whoever disobeyed them, they subjected him to the worst of humiliation, either by their hands, or by their tongues, or by empowering the rulers against them, taking revenge against them. May Allah grant us safety.
"And they destroyed those who did not speak in accordance with their errors *** with cursing, misguidance, and disbelief"
For example, they say: "May the curse of Allah be upon so-and-so who says that Allah has two realities." What do you say about this misguided person who affirms a sense organ for Allah? What do you say about this disbeliever who made Allah a body? And so on. When the common person hears such words, especially from a shaykh wearing a turban with wide sleeves, what does he say? He says: "It is true, these are misguided, these are disbelievers, these are deserving of cursing." Therefore, the author described them completely and accurately, saying:
"And they destroyed the followers of your revelation with that *** which is their due, not the army of al-Furqan (the Criterion)"
They destroyed the followers of your revelation with that which is their due. What did they do to the followers of revelation? They subjected them to misguidance and disbelief, while they themselves are more deserving of disbelief and misguidance. This is the meaning of the author's words; they are more deserving, and not the army of the Qur'an.
"And they destroyed them by dismissing them, killing them *** and imprisoning them, and exiling them from their homelands"
All of this they issue as rulings for the rulers, saying: "This is a corrupter, imprison him. This one is spreading corruption in the land, kill him. This one cannot remain in this country, exile him." And so on. And we, praise be to Allah, are safe from this, but in the time of the author and before it, everything he mentioned existed; it is not an exaggeration.
