(Clarification that the Mu'attilah are the Mushabbihah, not the People of the Sunnah) It is clear that those who deny that He is a Speaker in truth and clarity are the people of both denial of attributes and likening Allah to creation.

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The reader: "It is clear that those who deny that He is a Speaker in truth and clarity
are the people of both denial of attributes and likening Allah to creation, along with the inanimate objects that are greatly deficient."

The Shaykh : It is clear that they are the people of denial of attributes and likening Allah to creation. It is clear, everyone, the phrase is clear. Whether it is "it is clear" or "is it correct," that is not...
The student: ...

The Shaykh : Yes, if he said "is it correct that they are the people of denial of attributes," the argument would not hold. "It is clear"—fix it. All of you must fix it. And whoever does not fix it, we will take his book and fix it for him. And "it is clear," good.
"It is clear that those who deny that He is a Speaker in truth and clarity"
"In truth" is connected to "clear," meaning it is clear in a way of truth and clarity. They are the people of denial of attributes and likening Allah to creation. So in reality, they said, "We do not say He speaks because we liken Him to created things." We say, what are you likening Him to now? To inanimate objects, to idols, to false gods. And you have denied Him of His perfection in speech. Yes.
The reader: "Do not cast the disease upon yourselves, O followers of the Most Merciful, who are the people of knowledge and recognition
The one by whom the Trustworthy One descended upon the heart of the clear, evident Prophet
is the word of my Lord, the wording and the meaning both, for they are two brothers walking together
Do not sever a tie that the Most Merciful has established, lest you strip yourselves of faith
And indeed, the words of our poet have healed us, for he spoke the truth and brought forth excellence
What is in the mushafs, fixed by the hands of the elders and the young
is the word of my Lord, its verse and its letters, and our ink and the paper"

The Shaykh : and the paper
The reader: The qaf is dammed (has a damma).

The Shaykh : The paper, yes.
The reader: "is the word of my Lord, its verse and its letters, and our ink and the paper are created"

The Shaykh : The author (may Allah have mercy on him) says, "It is clear," after this clear clarification, that the people of denial of attributes, and these deniers of speech, are the people of denial of attributes and likening Allah to creation. And the answer to the question is yes, it is correct that they are the people of denial of attributes and they are the people of likening Allah to creation. Yes. What did they liken Him to?
"*** along with the inanimate objects that are greatly deficient"
The inanimate objects are those that do not speak. Then he said:
"Do not cast the disease upon yourselves, O followers of the Most Merciful, who are the people of knowledge and recognition"
Since it is established that they are the people of likening Allah to creation, they are now casting the charge of likening Allah to creation upon the People of the Sunnah. They say, "We are the Mushabbihah." So he says, "Do not cast that upon the People of the Sunnah. You are the Mushabbihah because you have likened Him to inanimate objects."
