The author (may Allah have mercy on him) says in the chapter on the remembrance of guardianship, and that whoever takes other than Allah as a guardian, Allah will cause him to be with what he took as a guardian. He says (may Allah have mercy on him):
"Truly, He calls them with a call, the Exalted *** On the Day of Resurrection, both worlds will hear.
O you who desire the guardianship of the Most Merciful *** other than the guardianship of Satan and the idols.
Separate yourself from all people" to the end of it.
This means that Allah (Glorified and Exalted is He) will call them on the Day of Judgment, saying that whoever used to worship anyone, let him follow him. So the one who worshipped the sun will follow the sun, and the one who worshipped the moon will follow the moon, and so on. And the one who worshipped Allah alone will remain, and Allah will take him as His guardian.
