The Shaykh : Praise be to Allah, Lord of the worlds, and I send prayers and peace upon our Prophet Muhammad, and upon his family and his Companions, and upon those who follow them with excellence until the Day of Judgment:
Wilayah is not valid to apply except according to the description that came in the Book of Allah (Mighty and Majestic). Allah the Exalted clarified that in His Book, where He says:[Yunus 10:62-63] Thus, Allah (Glorified and Exalted is He) clarified that His wilayah is not attained except with these two descriptions:
The first is: believing in what is obligatory to believe in.
And the second is: taqwa (mindfulness of Allah). In the first description, there is the rectification of the heart, and in the second description, there is the rectification of the body.
So whoever claims the wilayah of Allah (Mighty and Majestic) and has missed these two descriptions or one of them, he is a liar. If we find a person who permits himself for people to bow to him and prostrate to him, or permits himself to use the Shayatins (Satan) through various types of shirk (associating partners with Allah), and then claims after this that he is a wali (close friend of Allah), we say to him: You are a liar, because these actions of yours contradict faith and taqwa (mindfulness of Allah).
And whatever supernatural occurrences happen through his hands, that is due to the service of the Shayatins (Satan) to him, because the Shayatins (Satan) are capable of what humans are not capable of, so he uses the Shayatins (Satan) to achieve his goal of misleading the servants of Allah from the path of Allah.
And on this basis, whoever claims wilayah and is not characterized by the two descriptions that Allah (Mighty and Majestic) mentioned, which are faith and taqwa (mindfulness of Allah), he is a liar in his claim.
