(Exegesis of the beginning of Surat al-Waqi'ah) And indeed, in the revelation, there has come a confirmation of it *** in the two groups, and that is in the Qur'an. The people of the right are a group with their like *** and the forerunners

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh : Then the author said:
"And indeed, in the revelation, there has come a confirmation of it *** in the two groups, and that is in the Qur'an"
This means he is referring to the saying of Allah the Exalted:
(27) The companions of the right - what are the companions of the right? (28) [They will be] among lote trees with thorns removed
[Al-Waqi'ah 56:27-28]
until he said:
(39) A company of the former peoples (40) And a company of the later peoples.
[Al-Waqi'ah 56:39-40]

"The people of the right are a group with their like *** and the forerunners are fewer in number"
The forerunners, the forerunners. Allah said about them:
(13) A [large] company of the former peoples (14) And a few of the later peoples,
[Al-Waqi'ah 56:13-14]
And when we combine these two verses with each other, it becomes clear that the first of the community is better than the last, and that the last is better than the middle, is that so? Because Allah said about the people of the right:
(39) A company of the former peoples (40) And a company of the later peoples.
[Al-Waqi'ah 56:39-40]
, and He said about the forerunners:
(13) A [large] company of the former peoples (14) And a few of the later peoples,
[Al-Waqi'ah 56:13-14]
, so the group of the last... the group of the forerunners, because Allah said:
(13) A [large] company of the former peoples (14) And a few of the later peoples,
[Al-Waqi'ah 56:13-14]
.
