Reading from the words of the poet: A chapter on its trees, fruits, and shades... to the eyes find delight in it before that.

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The reader: "A chapter on its trees, fruits, and shades
Its trees are of two types, of which some *** have a counterpart in this world, two of them
Like the sidr, the origin of the jujube, stripped *** of thorns from the fruits of those of various colors
This, and the shade of the sidr is among the best of shad *** es, and its benefit is the refreshment of bodies
And its fruits are also of benefits, *** some of which bring joy to the sorrowful
And the date palm, which is the banana, arranged *** as a hand is arranged with fingers and nails
Or that it is a tree of the desert, heavy *** with fruit in place of thorns on the branches
And so are the pomegranates, the grapes, and the *** date palms from which the clusters are abundant
This, and the type that has in this wor *** ld a counterpart so that it may be seen with the eye
It suffices from the enumeration to say, our God *** from every fruit therein are two pairs
And they brought it similar in color, differ *** ent in tastes, so that is one of various colors
Or that it is similar in name, differ *** ent in tastes, so that is a second saying
Or that it is a middle of the best of all, *** so the male of it is not of two types
Or that it is for our fruits, having a counterpart *** in name and color, not differing
But its joy and the pleasure of its taste *** is a matter other than what you find
So it is pleasant to eat when it is reached, *** and the eyes find delight in it before that"
