In what manner?
The student: In loss.
The Shaykh : Is it by faith or by disbelief?
The student: By disbelief.
The Shaykh : By disbelief.
"And I have isolated it from what I desire for its sake *** a true isolation without concealment
I have declared that our certainty is not derived *** from it, and it has no perfection
I have treated it with neglect, figurative interpretation, distortion, *** and delegation without proof
And I strove with all my might to punish the one who holds onto *** its loose ends, not by following the opinion of so-and-so.
This refers to those caliphs who harmed the people of the Sunnah by beating, imprisoning, and killing them when they held fast to the Qur'an and abandoned the opinions of men. We ask Allah to guide us and you to His straight path and to make us and you among the callers to the truth with insight. Indeed, He is Generous and Noble.
