The Shaykh :"For example: " Al-Hayy " is one of the names of Allah the Exalted" And Mahmoud, what is the evidence for this?
The student: ... .

The Shaykh : Well done.
Allah - there is no deity except Him, the Ever-Living, the Sustainer of [all] existence
[Al-Baqarah 2:255]
In how many places in the Qur'an is this phrase "Al-Hayy al-Qayyum" mentioned? Tell us, Ahmad?
The student: ... .

The Shaykh : The first is in the Verse of the Throne.
Allah - there is no deity except Him, the Ever-Living, the Sustainer of [all] existence
[Al-Baqarah 2:255]

And the second is after the adhan, if Allah wills.
Shall we continue, you first?
The student:
Allah - there is no deity except Him, the Ever-Living, the Sustainer of [all] existence
[Al-Baqarah 2:255]
.

The Shaykh : In the Verse of the Throne.
The student: ... .

The Shaykh : And in Surat al-Imran.
Allah - there is no deity except Him, the Ever-Living, the Sustainer of [all] existence
[Al-Baqarah 2:255]

The third is in Surat Ta-Ha.
And [all] faces will be humbled before the Ever-Living, the Sustainer of existence
[Taha 20:111]
Now, "For example: " Al-Hayy " is one of the names of Allah the Exalted, encompassing complete life that was not preceded by non-existence and is not followed by cessation" This is with regard to the existence of life, which was not preceded by non-existence and is not followed by cessation, as Allah Blessed and Exalted is He said:
He is the First and the Last
[Al-Hadid 57:3]
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) explained this as the First, before whom there is nothing, and the Last, after whom there is nothing; He is Eternal and Everlasting, Mighty and Majestic.
Now, also, from the perfection of His life, which necessitates the perfection of His attributes, such as knowledge, power, hearing, sight, and others, there is no deficiency in Him, neither in the essence of His existence nor in His attributes. His life is complete, and therefore His servants call upon Him, knowing that He hears their words and that He is capable of answering their supplications.
