The foolishness of the minds of the mushrikin (those who associate partners with Allah) in taking gods other than Allah.

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The student: O Shaykh, the light... The evidence for this is from two angles. From the angle of the mushrikin (those who associate partners with Allah) before the message, they worship the idols themselves, and they are the ones who worship them. The one who is supposed to be worshipped, the Creator, is the one who is worshipped. And the second is the action of Quraysh before Islam. Do you know the words of the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him)? The Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) is the one who speaks these words, and he is the one who guides them to the truth. Before Islam, they did not hear of it, nor did they follow his guidance. And after a person from Quraysh specifically becomes a Muslim, it is not possible for him to turn away from Islam.

The Shaykh : The last part, I did not understand it.
The student: I mean that Islam is a light that Allah illuminates.

The Shaykh : It is known, there is no doubt that it is a light.
The student: Because a person does not attain guidance and insight except after Islam.

The Shaykh : There is no doubt, it is certain.
The student: Because if a person thinks, he makes the idol himself and then goes to worship it.

The Shaykh : Yes, and he eats it. Did you not know, O Salim, that he makes an idol from dates and prostrates to these dates and bows? Yes. And when he is hungry, he eats them. Praise be to Allah, the time is over.
The student: In the Qur'an, it is not in the heavens and the earth.

The Shaykh :
and for Allah is the highest attribute. And He is Exalted in Might, the Wise. ولله المثل الأعلى وهو العزيز الحكيم
[An-Nahl 16:60]
This is not in the heavens and the earth, but rather they cross out the phrase "in the heavens and the earth," because
and for Allah is the highest attribute. And He is Exalted in Might, the Wise. ولله المثل الأعلى وهو العزيز الحكيم
[An-Nahl 16:60]
Yes, how?
The student: ... .

The Shaykh : Glory be to Allah,
For those who do not believe in the Hereafter is the description of evil; and for Allah is the highest attribute. And He is Exalted in Might, the Wise.
[An-Nahl 16:60]
This verse means they crossed out His saying "in the heavens and the earth"; it is not there, that is all. Praise be to Allah, perhaps, okay.
It says: "And if the attribute is a deficiency in which there is no perfection, then it is impossible for Allah, such as death" and so on.
