Question:
The first message in this episode is from the citizen Bashir Muhammad Hussein from Libya. Our brother Bashir, we presented some of his questions in a previous episode, and in this episode he has a number of remaining questions. In a group of his questions, he asks about the exegesis of some verses from the Qur'an. One of them is this question, which says: Explain to us the saying of the Truth, Blessed and Exalted is He: I seek refuge in Allah from the accursed Shaytan.[Ya-Sin 36:74] They will not be able to help them, and they are for them troops that will be brought together. So do not grieve over what they say. Indeed, We know what they conceal and what they declare. [Ya-Sin: 74-76]?
Answer:
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. All praise is due to Allah, and may Allah send prayers and peace upon the Messenger of Allah, and upon his family and his Companions, and upon those who follow his guidance. As for what follows:
The verse is clear in explaining the state of the polytheists among whom he (peace and blessings be upon him) was sent, from Quraysh and others, and that they took besides Allah other gods from idols, trees, stones, angels, prophets, and others.
The gods of the polytheists are of many types, and they did this hoping to be helped, hoping for their help, and hoping for their intercession, as He, Glorified and Exalted is He, said about them in another verse: [Yunus: 18], meaning our intercessors in helping us, assisting us against our enemies, healing our sick, and in other matters.
And he said regarding the other verse in the chapter of al-Zumar:[Az-Zumar 39:3] They worship them so that they may help them, bring them closer, and intercede for them. Then the Exalted made it clear that they are unable to help them; these gods cannot help their worshippers, nor can they help themselves, as the Exalted and Majestic is He said in the chapter of al-A'raf: [Al-A'raf 7:191] And they are not able to help them, nor can they help themselves . So they are unable to help their worshippers, nor are they able to help themselves; rather, victory is from Allah, the Exalted and Majestic is He. He is the One who helps whom He wills , as the Exalted said: [Ali 'Imran 3:126]
[Ya-Sin: 75]. On the Day of Resurrection, they are against them, brought together with them on the Day of Resurrection in the Fire. All of them are punished together. This is regarding the gods worshipped besides Allah with their consent, like Pharaoh, Nimrod, the idols, and their like. They are with them in the Fire.
As for the angels and the prophets, they are innocent of them and do not approve of their worshipping them, as He, Glorified and Exalted is He, said about the angels: [al-Qasas: 63].
The point is that these idols who are with them on the Day of Resurrection in the Fire are those they worshipped besides Allah from inanimate objects like idols and trees, or gods from the jinn or humans who consented to it. So they are with them in the Fire.
As for those who did not consent to it, from the prophets, the angels, and the righteous, they are not with them. Rather, Allah has protected them from them and shielded them from them, and they are innocent of them. Rather, the worshippers are the ones in the Fire who worshipped other than Allah and associated partners with Allah.
As for the worshipped ones who did not consent to it, like the angels, the messengers, the prophets, and the righteous; they do not approve of being worshipped besides Allah, rather they disavow that. Yes.

But they have taken besides Allah [false] deities that perhaps they would be helped.

And they worship other than Allah that which neither harms them nor benefits them, and they say, "These are our intercessors with Allah
And he said regarding the other verse in the chapter of al-Zumar:
We only worship them that they may bring us nearer to Allah in position
