And as for the intellect, it is from several aspects: The first is that it is known by necessity that there is a difference in essence between the Creator and the created

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh :"And as for the intellect, it is from several aspects" means that the negation of similarity by the intellect is from several aspects. "The first is that it is known by necessity that there is a difference in essence between the Creator and the created" Correct, yes, there is no dispute in this. Glory be to Allah, no one disagrees with the difference in essence between the Creator and the created, even those who deny the attributes who affirm the Creator acknowledge this. "Because there is a difference between the Creator and the created, yes, in essence, and this necessitates that there be a difference in attributes between them, because the attribute of every described thing befits it, as is apparent in the attributes of created things that differ in essence. For example, the strength of a donkey is not the strength of an ant? Correct, you say the ant is strong and the donkey is strong, but there is a great difference between them, just as there is a great difference between two essences. Now, if you say the ant has a leg and the donkey has a leg, does anyone among people understand that the leg of the donkey is like the leg of the ant? Never, because the attribute of every described thing befits it. So Allah (Mighty and Majestic) is Wise in His creation and in His law. If the difference between created things is apparent despite their sharing in possibility and contingency, then the appearance of the difference between them, meaning between the created things and the Creator, is clearer and stronger" So this is an intellectual proof for what? For the impossibility of similarity.
