The Shaykh: Sahih Ibn Hibban 7:371 In this hadith, there is this benefit: in the hadith of Ibn 'Umar, there is no specification of the amount of work, whereas here it is specified that he worked until midday. Here, too, there is brevity and conciseness. What is this money? Its explanation came in the hadith of Ibn 'Umar, where he said: ; meaning, the wage of that man was a farq of rice. A farq is a small container. His wage was this farq of rice. When this worker did not accept this wage and left angry, this master, the owner of the land, said: meaning: that farq of rice, until I gathered from it cattle and their herders. This is what the man saved from that farq; it accumulated with him as cattle and their herders. So he says in the hadith of Ibn 'Umar: Sahih al-Bukhari 2215. And his right was the farq of rice. . You are telling me: take this herd of cattle. . He says here in his supplication: Sahih Ibn Hibban 7:371.
Before that, he says:Sahih Ibn Hibban 7:371 This is a very important point. The man left his wage with him, which was a farq of rice, and it did not agree with him... with the blessing of Allah (Mighty and Majestic) in this money, so he returned to ask for his right. What is the right? A farq of rice. He says: So I gave him everything I had saved for him because of this farq, and if I had wished, I would not have given him anything but his right; meaning: this farq; meaning: he was able to not give him what he had saved for him during this long period, but he saw in his own generosity that he should present to him all that resulted from the original money. So he says: , there he says: . Here he says: Sahih Ibn Hibban 7:292.
Ibn Hibban narrated it in his "Sahih" with this wording, and in it, as you have seen, are some benefits that are not mentioned in the hadith of Ibn 'Umar. In the next lesson, if Allah wills, there will be other hadiths in this chapter, so we will suffice with this amount, and praise be to Allah, Lord of the worlds.
And the third said: O Allah, if You know that I hired a worker for a day, and he worked until midday
So I gave him a wage, but he was displeased with it and did not take it, so I saved it for him until that money became
So I kept planting it
So I kept planting it
After a time that man came and demanded his money.
So I said to him: Look at those cattle, go and take them. He said: O servant of Allah, do not mock me; I only have a farq of rice with you
He said: Go and take them; for those cattle are from that farq
If You know that I did that hoping for Your mercy and fearing Your punishment; so remove it from us
Before that, he says:
So I said: Take all of this, and if I had wished, I would not have given him anything but his original wage
If You, O Allah, know that I did that
ابتغاءَ مرضاتكhoping for Your mercy and fearing Your punishment; so remove the stone from us, and the stone was removed and they came out walking.
Ibn Hibban narrated it in his "Sahih" with this wording, and in it, as you have seen, are some benefits that are not mentioned in the hadith of Ibn 'Umar.
