Shaykh Muhammad ibn Salih al-‘Uthaymeen

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The reciter: Ali ibn Abdullah narrated to us, saying: Yahya ibn Sa'id informed us, saying: Ibn Abi Awrah narrated to us, saying: Qatadah narrated to us that Anas ibn Malik narrated to them, saying: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"What is wrong with those people who look towards the sky during the prayer?" His talk grew stern while delivering this speech and he said, "They should stop (looking towards the sky during the prayer); otherwise their eyesight would be taken away." ما بال أقوام يرفعون أبصارهم إلى السماء في صلاتهم فاشتد قوله في ذلك حتى قال لينتهن عن ذلك أو لتخطفن أبصارهم
